Silvacom CS partnered with LTSA (Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia) to deliver the Survey Plan Submissions service (SPS), a modern, map based digital plan submission workflow that speeds surveyor submissions, improves parcel fabric currency, and reduces manual reentry across government registries.

The National Land Agency (NLA) oversees Jamaica's primary land management information. Silvacom CS worked closely with the Jamaican team, offering advice and practical assistance to overcome migration challenges in transitioning their ArcGIS Desktop data to Esri's ArcGIS Pro Parcel Fabric.
A company needed to modernize its land management platform due to Esri discontinuing support for ArcGIS Desktop. They also aimed to reduce costs by switching from custom software to off-the-shelf components. Silvacom CS helped migrate data to ArcGIS Pro and update the software accordingly.
The Town of Stony Plain had very basic GIS. Data was undependable, and upkeep was a laborious process that consumed most of the GIS team's time. Without effective FME services, local governments struggle with supporting services such as emergency response, property assessments, and taxation. Silvacom CS set up FME workspaces and a series of automation to free up considerable time for the GIS team.
The discontinuation of support for SPOC browser technology would affect the operations of the Alberta Land Titles Office and over 400 Alberta Land Surveyors. Silvacom CS utilized modern technologies such as Safe Software's FME and Amazon Web Services to translate the original SPOC application.
To eliminate the need for paperwork and to advance service delivery, the Silvacom CS team built a web-based plan submission and checking tool for Saskatchewan Information Services Corporation (ISC) to auto-verify business rules before submitting to Plan Processing.
In June 2013, devastating floods struck the Town of High River, Alberta. The MNC-Silvacom CS team assisted in immediate GIS support and data management for the relief effort and developed an application to help complete on-ground property assessments and organize remediation efforts.
Modernizing web applications can be complicated and expensive. As experts in web application modernization, we have developed a webinar series to help decision-makers understand what needs to be considered at each step in the process. Each episode focuses on a different topic (security, UX design, etc.) and touches on common concerns faced by organizations that want to modernize a web application. We break down each concern and explain how it can be dealt with in an uncomplicated way.
Manual plan validation and processing doesn’t scale, especially when submission volumes are rising. That’s the challenge the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) faced for survey plan validation with ParcelMap BC. With budget and staffing constraints, maintaining data quality and efficiently integrating plans into their parcel fabric required significant manual review and cleanup.
But by partnering with Silvacom CS and using FME as the automation backbone, they turned a multi‑day process into one that runs in a fraction of the time: with higher data quality and zero backlog.
In this episode, our experts guide you through the process of defining your blueprint for modernizing your web application, including outlining requirements to consider. We also show you a use case of a design process to walk you through the stages you may encounter.
In this episode, our experts guide you through the basics of Amazon Web Services (AWS), the decision-making process for choosing AWS, and look at some alternative cloud service providers. This webinar is intended to help you understand what AWS can offer as a cloud service provider to help you decide if it is a good fit for your organization.

They worked very hard to understand our vision and turn it into something tangible, user- friendly, and visually appealing.

We were looking to develop a technical solution for tracking, displaying and storing forest history photographs, stories and information. My team is not well versed in technology options; thankfully the Silvacom CS team has made the process easy while engaging our members in the analysis and review. I highly recommend Silvacom CS considering the experience their team brings to a project or initiative.
